I get so tired of people saying Keanu as Shadow makes ‘perfect’ sense for such silly reasons 😂 like “oh he likes guns”, or “oh he likes motorbikes” or “oh sonic likes him in the films”. *This is a voice role* and one that is very important to get right, and whilst I am very happy with them casting Keanu as Shadow, the reason of his voice needs to be a much more crucial reason than people are making it. Also, and I accept this is an unpopular opinion, but you should never have Shadow using guns. You should never (if not almost never) have him using motorbikes. He can run miles faster than a motorbike any day. He has enough of his own power to showcase as it is. He is not an edge lord - he is a genuine hedgehog who simply cares about fulfilling his purpose in the world amidst the complex, dark events, trauma and amnesia he has been through. Anyway, rant over. I’m very excited to see Keanu bring Shadow to life for his big screen & live action debut at the end of the year 👍

It would be cool that Shadow on the movie could not use sonic powers at least on the first half of the movie. So it would make sense that he has to use weapons or vehicles to compensate that little issue.

This games story was bad because they decided to go full progressive and focus on the females so much, to the point of ostracizing you the player in almost all the cutscenes and focusing on only the women and dumbing down all the men. It's not bad having strong women, but Randy for some reason decided to make it central to the story. It's why all the women characters were so focused in this game when they really shouldn't have been the focus, rather the sirens and vaults and other characters as well. The sirens are integral, but you don't need to leave out the player character. We could be an integral part of the story and should be, yet we get left out of all the cutscenes for some reason. The end song of the game shows their intentions. This game came out when the right wing was growing and throwing back against ultra progressivism and Randy is against the right wing, to a point that he'd sacrifice this games story to push a lame narrative.

The reviews say its bad, I love replaying BL3, a bit more than 2, mostly for the quality of life but I do actually enjoy the story, it's goofy and fresh

I mean... the thing with Typhon Deleon is that his entire backstory, played through the logs, speaks on the idea that this guy sort of lucked into his situation, alongside a strange sort of pragmatic intelligence as well, and the legend of Typhon Deleon was created after the fact, when the actual guy is just sort of... normal. I do get a twinge of annoyance whenever I see him for the first time, since it's played for a joke that he's small, but I mean... it is what it is I guess. From how I see it, he's not supposed to be you, but he's the spawning point for the legend that creates you, if that makes sense. Take something like Half Life pioneering how FPS games tell a story. It paved the way for everything to come (Including the Borderlands games to some degree) yet, if you were to go back and play it now, you could tell how lacking the game is compared to modern technology. I don't know why I felt the need to defend Typhon, but I feel like his character, at least, is one of the parts that work.

I too have all the achievements and it was pretty fun.

I remember one side mission where a young lady told me to drive with her oldman. And he was abusing me while we were collecting some of his stuff around location. Abusing like "Drive faster/slower u pieceOfshit/idiot". After ending i restarted saved game, we sit into my car like before, i drove arounda closest corner, got off car and throw car with him into abyss off cliff. By hitting with hands. And still got the money after lady's "I never liked him anyway".

Borderlands 3 is so much fucking fun, all you have to do is mute the voices and listen to a podcast. Though I have to say that the DLCs have definitely been a highlight for me.

The thing I hated the most, was a lack of badass male characters in a main story. Y'know, like Roland. The new sanctuary felt like girls' bachelor party. And all male characters ended up to be just wacky punchbags.
